June 6, 2012 No Comments »

Xsigo Systems Inc., a leader in data center fabric and technology, has announced the upgrades to its Xsigo Data center Fabric product line. This new product line is vendor neutral and enhances SDN management along with lending support for five major hypervisors with 56 Gbps server to server connections. This is in response to customer demand for vendor neutral fabric solutions. Xsigo solutions help in a cost effective movement to fabric architecture since it is not a closed system and also enables the IT decision makers to retain control over factors like storage equipment, virtualization and server technology.

There are three main products in the upgrades – Xsigo Fabric Director, Xsigo Fabric Manager and Xsigo Fabric Accelerator. New features encompass areas like support for hypervisors Citrix, Microsoft and Red Hat to name a few and software performance manager. It also offers support for new gen servers for virtualized data centers.  This is the only fabric solution that can work with equipment from all vendors.
