Intel has announced its next generation data center solid state drive – the DC S3700. This series is all set to go into production by the end of this year and its biggest deliverable is the elimination of storage bottlenecks and maximization of multi- core CPU performance.Considering the fact that data is growing at an explosive rate, data center managers need to address data storage challenges as well. With the Intel SSD DC S3700 Series, data center managers can look forward to fast and consistent performance coupled with low latencies and strong data protection and high endurance.

All these benefits are delivered by the DC S3700 through a tight distribution of IOPS or input/outputs per second. The product can feed apps with 4KB random read performance of a maximum of 75,000 IOPS and 4KB write performance of up to 36,000 IOPS. It also has Intel HET or High Endurance Technology that delivers single level cell SSD-like endurance in a multi-level cell cost effective technology.
