VMware is a well known name amongst the virtualization community and having a VMware Certified Profession or VCP is certainly considered as a benchmark of one’s expertise in this area.It is not easy to pass this exam as apart from the VMware training course, it also requires at least 6 months of hands-on training before the professional gets a feel of the working of vSphere to level sufficient to pass the exam.
The company launched version 5 of vSphere towards the end of last year and had asked the professionals to upgrade to the latest version without having to sit in another course or pay any additional fee. Now the offer is very near to its closing date and the last date is 29th February 2012.
So anyone with a VCP4 willing to upgrade to VCP5 better do it now, or will have to undergo more formalities from next month i.e. March 2012.
