The NASDAQ OMX data center has announced two new offerings within their facility which includes a common theme in most data centers and that is connectivity speed and higher densities.
The NASDAQ data center is ideal for financial businesses to reduce latency by standing in the same facility that their exchanges occur within. To bolster this offering NASDAQ OMX will be offering 40G client connectivity. In addition, combine this offering with the availability of up to 17kW per cabinet and you have what NASDAQ OMX is calling its Super Cab.
