One Source Networks (OSN), the global voice and managed network services partner of choice for large enterprises, today announced its partnership with AppNeta, the technology leader of full-stack Application Performance Management (APM) solutions, to deliver comprehensive application-layer monitoring to its global enterprise customer base.
As more applications move to cloud, it is becoming increasingly difficult—and critical—to quickly detect, identify, troubleshoot and resolve network and application performance issues. Through this new service from OSN, customers will have increased visibility and analysis capability for Web, mobile and cloud-delivered application environments. The solution enables customers to generate, analyze and measure live VoIP and video-conferencing traffic, as well as detect and troubleshoot network latency, packet loss, jitter and QoS errors.
“We are thrilled about what this partnership with AppNeta can provide for our customers,” stated Ernest Cunningham, CEO, One Source Networks. “Being able to deliver a unified view of the health of an enterprise’s critical applications with network insight further builds on OSN’s commitment of delivering enterprises with the advanced, high-performance solutions they require, via a single source.”
The offering includes a passive device that is installed on the customer’s premises and is fully managed by OSN. This provides the customer with expansive visibility without the cost and hassle of managing infrastructure. The service is composed of four distinct modules, which can be mixed and matched depending on the unique reporting requirements.
“We’re excited to partner with One Source Network, which furthers our commitment to ensuring the successful delivery of business-critical applications,” commented Jim Melvin, CEO, AppNeta. “We believe that adding AppNeta’s full-stack APM solution will be the perfect complement to OSN’s robust network-monitoring capabilities. Its customers will now be able to easily identify and fix performance bottlenecks, ensuring the seamless delivery of business-critical applications and an optimal end-user experience.”
The new capability is provided as a value-added service within One Source Networks’ Managed Network Services offering. It builds on the company’s MNS capabilities which include 24x7x365 support and management of circuits and CPE, real-time and historical reporting, security services and Backup as a Service.
