Construction equipment hire company, Kennards, has chosen to go with Microsoft Windows 2012 to manage its virtualization ecosystem. The company embarked upon its virtualization journey 4 years ago and now has decided to go with Windows Server 2012 for the future. The company was chosen for the rapid deployment program (RDP) by Microsoft and therefore had received access to the solution much earlier than other companies and businesses.

This ecosystem was being managed by Frontline Systems. The transition from basic and unmanaged IT infrastructure to a standardized one saw the choice being made of Microsoft technology and Citrix technology as well.

When Kennards was given the choice of the RDP they realized benefits such as DR, stability, freedom from storage concerns and so on. the company ran several workloads in production on Windows Server 2012. In particular DR was delivered through the Hyper V replication technology. Today, the company has decided to integrate Windows Server 2012 with its System Center.
