Energetix Group plc has recently announced the operationalization of its first DC100 Data Center installation. The company develops and sells alternative energy products. It had supplied three DC100 compressed air batteries to Co- operative Financial Services.This project has now gone live and the point of interest for the data center industry will be to observe the success of its Pnu Power data center solution. This solution is said to be highly reliable and capable of reducing not only energy costs but carbon emissions as well.
The Pnu Power products have found their way into markets in the grid switching and telecom sectors and the Co- operative Banking group has installed the product in its Co-operative Bank Pyramid Building in Stockport, UK.
The system delivers backup power to the data center and call center. It is a 400kVA 300kW and 200kW N+1 system. Some of the key aspects of this design rest on the fact that it delivers flexible back up time, high efficiency an low maintenance.
