AMD Ties Up With HP For Cloud Data Center

AMD has tied up with HP for its cloud data center. The company has been able to realize its goals of better business efficiency and streamlining its operations by consolidating and standardizing its operations via HP networking solutions.AMD has 18 data centers all over the world and it felt a very real need to consolidate infrastructure and optimize resources to help benefit from better cooling and power efficiency. The company also has a vast array of computing devices ranging from personal computers to servers and game consoles.

But opting for the HP 12500 Switch Series and HP 5820 Switch Series, AMD will be deploying the same in its new private cloud data center where virtualization and cluster technologies play an important role.

AMD has also used HP server solutions like HP ProLiant BL465c G& servers which will come with AMD Opteron 6200 Series processors. This will help enhance the computing power of its internal engineering cloud.
